Water retailer Wave has signalled substantial expansion plans in Scotland with a number of recruits to its Scottish operations and relocation from central Edinburgh to premises at Ocean Point in Leith.

The company, which provides water and wastewater services to more than 300,000 businesses across the UK –  is moving the billing function for Scottish customers to its new base. As a result, eight recruits have joined the business.

It also hired a Business Development Manager, Mark Carroll, who is responsible for growing the industrial and commercial customer base in Scotland.

Tony March, director of public sector customers, said: “When we signed the Scottish Business Pledge, we made a commitment to supporting economic growth in Scotland. We’re very pleased to be delivering on this promise with the creation of new jobs at Wave.”
