Charlotte Street adds heavyweight to PR team
Ballantyne has worked in London and Scotland for 40 years, and has extensive corporate experience both at home and abroad.
He was head of corporate communications at international brewer Scottish & Newcastle ahead of the Carlsberg/Heineken takeover and prior to that was head of the group communications team for bus and rail operator, Stagecoach Group while the transport group was expanding internationally.
More recently, he was deputy chairman of the London financial PR business, Cardew Group, advising Clydesdale Bank, Miller Group and C&C Group, amongst others.
Rob worked in journalism for 25 years and is a former Business Editor of The Times in London. He held the same position at The Scotsman and the Sunday Times Scotland.
