Smarts unveils two hires and three promotions
Smart recruits: Ewan MacGill and Linda McIntyre
PR agency Smarts Communicate has announced a number of appointments and promotions in its Scottish business.
Linda McIntyre joins as an associate director following her 13 year tenure at Consolidated PR, where she was a practice director in charge of the agency’s Scottish operations.
She has more than 19 years’ experience in agency and in-house roles, mainly in public sector PR, having worked on Scottish Government campaigns for the past 13 years.
Joining as a senior account manager from creative agency Wire, Ewan MacGill brings experience from across Scotland’s food and drink sector, most recently account managing a range of brands across the C&C Group beer portfolio, including Tennent’s Lager and Menabrea.
The agency also announced the promotion of senior account executives Emma Bain and Nicola McArthur to account managers, whilst Hannah Fisher is promoted to senior account executive. The appointments come on the back of new business wins for the company across a range of sectors.
These include Leeds-based branded meal and snack manufacturer, Symington’s which owns brands such as Mug Shot, Naked Noodle, Chicken Tonight, Ragu and gluten-free product range ilumi.
