Johnston Press closes Dealmonster deals website

DealmonsterJohnston Press has closed the Dealmonster online deals website. All trading under the brand ceased on 1 January.

An announcement on its website thanked customers and clients who had used the services since it launched in September 2012.

All money owed for vouchers sold will be paid under the contracted terms vouchers will need to be honoured up to the agreed expiry dates.

Dealmonster support staff are still operating until 25 January and finance staff are still operating as normal and will continue to operate until all accounts are settled.

Its website states:  “All queries sent to us up to and including the 25 January 2016 will be dealt with and we will not allow any queries to be left unfinished or unanswered.”

    I made a reservation through dealmonster on the 22nd December 2015 for my parents to have a weekend break on the Isle of Bute, however having just called them today 22nd March 2016 to ask something – they’ve informed me that my reservation is no longer valid & that dealmonster have gone bust!!!?,
    You can imagine my surprise & disappointment. Dealmonster have made no attempt to contact me or refund me for this voucher – can you please advise me on what happens now?!!
