Eardley takes up Reid’s Westminster role

Nick EardleyNick Eardley, formerly assistant news editor at The Scotsman, is to replace Tim Reid as Westminster Correspondent at BBC Scotland.

He has been working in the BBC newsroom in London since March 2014, writing for the website, and will take up his new role early in the new year.

He was part of the general election team at Millbank and in September 2014 worked in Glasgow during the Scottish independence referendum campaign.

He studied at Edinburgh and Napier universities and joined The Scotsman’s online team in 2011 before moving on to the newsdesk.
