Call centre group Webhelp hiring a further 400 staff

Call centreCall centre company Webhelp UK plans to double its workforce in Kilmarnock and Dunoon by hiring another 400 workers.

The two sites will be recruiting on the back of growth in the company’ business. It hired a similar number of staff at these centres in 2013, aided by a £1.5 million regional selective assistance grant from the Scottish government.

It has 10 locations across the UK and other Scottish operations in Larbert, Greenock, Rothesay and Glasgow. Clients include Sky, EE, Vodafone, First Utility, Office Depot, Mobile by Sainsbury’s & Plusnet.

Webhelp is based in France and has its UK operational headquarters in Falkirk. Revenues have grown by 112% over the last four years.

The Webhelp Group employs 22,000 people from 58 locations worldwide and has its British headquarters in London, England and global headquarters in Paris, France.
