BrewDog to move into listed Queen’s House
The Ellon-based brewer has signed a five year lease with landlord Picton at the St Vincent Street location while The Stand, Digital Connections, FPSG and Brightree have also moved in.
The new occupiers join Layer Systems, Woods Associate Surveyors, Intelligent Office, TNEI and The Napiershall Formula in the newly-refurbished building, where rents have recently been achieved up to £14 per sq ft.
Laurence Jones, senior asset manager at Picton, said: “To achieve circa 95% occupancy in a 32 suite office building is a tremendous achievement and testament to the high quality and variety of space we have on offer.”
Colin McGhee, JLL, said: “This time last year the occupancy level at Queen’s House was just 60 per cent. Now, there is just one 1,300 sq. ft. suite remaining.
“The landlord has made a significant investment into the common areas and the office suites within Queen’s House, and that refurbishment has clearly struck a chord with businesses.”
The building also houses the restaurant Urban Bar & Brasserie.
