Cultivate extends Deliveroo partnership

Andy RobinsonSoftware design and development consultancy Cultivate is extending its partnership with dining delivery service Deliveroo.

The two companies have worked together since late 2016 and Edinburgh-based Cultivate is providing a number of its engineers to work closely with key members of Deliveroo’s technology team.

Cultivate specialises in bespoke web applications and has undertaken project work with corporate and public sector clients including JP Morgan, General Electric and the Government Digital Service.

The team has been working increasingly with high growth VC-backed startups including LivingSocial and HouseTrip, which was acquired by TripAdvisor in 2016.

Commercial director, Andy Robinson (pictured), said: “We are thrilled to be supporting Deliveroo through such an impressive period of growth.”

Dan Webb, VP of engineering at Deliveroo, said: “Cultivate has been a fantastic partner for us – their team has integrated seamlessly into ours and we’re excited for them to be part of our continued work.”

Cultivate was founded in 2014 following a management buyout from Silicon Valley product development studio Neo. The 13-strong company works with clients globally.
