Henderson Loggie has strengthened its senior tax team with the appointment of Kenneth McEwen as partner based at the accountancy firm’s Glasgow office.
Mr McEwen, who has a broad client base of owner managed businesses and heads up Henderson Loggie’s specialist property and construction group, takes up his new role with effect from 1 December.
A Strathclyde University law graduate and chartered tax adviser, he joined Henderson Loggie in 2008 as tax manager after roles with Geoghagan & Co in Edinburgh and PwC.
Henderson Loggie chairman Alan Davis said: “Strengthening our tax offer is part of our national growth strategy, along with providing expert knowledge through our sector specialist teams.
“Kenneth brings leadership skills and motivation to the role and his experience in advising a diverse range of owner managed businesses, along with his particular expertise in property and construction, have proven invaluable to the firm.”
