Industry leaders to meet

Focus on food and drink heads to Aberdeen

James Withers headIndustry body Scotland Food & Drink holds its next Leadership Forum in Aberdeen tomorrow (Wednesday) as part of its new 2030 strategy.

The events are delivered in partnership with Morisons Solicitors, audit, tax and consulting firm RSM and Bank of Scotland.

Scotland Food & Drink chief executive James Withers (pictured), said: “The Leadership Forum events will bring together key players in the sector for discussion about issues affecting the sector and shared ambitions for the future in a constantly evolving economic situation.

“One of the greatest unknowns is the impact of Brexit, one which will take many years to unfold.

“Work is well under way across the Scotland Food & Drink Partnership to shape our shared strategic direction and outcomes of the debate will feed in to the development of the new industry strategy which will map our course to 2030.

“The Leadership Forum events are an industry first and we’re looking forward to welcoming attendees at ten events across the country right into the New Year.”
