Lygate takes health role at Cushman & Wakefield
Craig Lygate has been appointed to head up the new Scottish arm of property agent Cushman & Wakefield’s healthcare advisory team.
He is the latest recruit to the recently-created UK team led by Martin Robb and joins with 14 years’ experience as a valuation expert in the growing healthcare sector, working for leading banks include RBS, Bank of Scotland, HSBC, Clydesdale Bank and Santander.
Mr Lygate, who is operating from the Glasgow office and becomes a partner in the business, will be initially focusing on the care home, children’s day nursery, pharmacy and dental sectors.
He said: “I am thrilled to have been given this opportunity to help build a brand new healthcare business for Cushman & Wakefield in Scotland, an area the agency was not previously involved in north of the border. It will be great to be part of the team which operates not only on a UK level but as part of global company.”
Mr Robb, Cushman & Wakefield’s head of healthcare advisory, said: “Mr Lygate’s arrival means we can now cover a wider geographical area – since starting Mr Lygate has already clocked up lots of miles travelling across the country up to Inverness and further afield.
