'Last prime development' in city
Haymarket’s new look – fresh images released
New images have been issued along with marketing material for the £200 million Haymarket development in Edinburgh’s west end.
The four-acre scheme will re-energise a long-derelict former railway yard which has been used as a car park for years.
It will be built in five blocks between Morrison Street and Haymarket rail station. There will be 381 underground car parking spaces
Tiger Developments, which has been involved in £1 billion of transactions in the UK, is behind the project which has been master planned by Richard Murphy Associates.
JLL, WYM Real Estate and Eric Young & Co, agents for the scheme, said it represents one of the last prime development opportunities in the city.
The agents say: “With new development in the city at its lowest level for decades, there is a real concern businesses in the city will not be able to secure well designed modern accommodation which addresses future requirements including sustainability and environmental issues.”
