Davis takes chair at Henderson Loggie
Mr Davis, who is head of tax for the firm, succeeds Jandy Stevenson who has retired and will remain as a consultant. Henderson Loggie has offices in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
A management reshuffle sees Fiona Morgan become head of accountancy and business solutions and Stephen Bain take up the role as head of IT.
Prior to joining Henderson Loggie in 2005, Mr Davis worked with KPMG in their Aberdeen and Edinburgh offices and spent 16 years with HM Revenue and Customs, and has, in total, 30 years’ experience of specialising in VAT.
In addition to his tax specialism, he leads the firm’s education sector group which counts a number of Scotland’s leading independent schools among its clients.
Mr Davis said: “It is a privilege to follow in the footsteps of Jandy Stevenson who has steered the firm through a programme of expansion and has been a key component of the firm’s development over the past four years.
“It is an exciting time as we continue to embrace the latest technology and build on our role as business advisors. Stephen and Fiona will bring added focus to our offering to the market, with a particular focus on emerging cloud-based accounting innovations.
Originally from Leven in Fife, Mr Davis lives in Perth with his wife and two children.
