Linklater promoted at French Duncan

Harry LinklaterFrench Duncan, the Scottish accountancy practice, has promoted director Harry Linklater to partner with immediate effect as part of its ongoing programme of change and development.

Mr Linklater joined French Duncan in 2011, having held various advisory roles within Big Four and mid-tier firms, as well as having worked within the banking sector. As part of a central belt corporate advisory team based within the firm’s Edinburgh office, he has advised on a variety of corporate finance assignments, including acquisitions, disposals, due diligence, share valuation and fundraising.

Commenting on his promotion and the broadening of his role to encompass French Duncan’s entrepreneurial services division, he said: “I look forward to working on a close ongoing basis with entrepreneurs to help realise their business ambitions in my new role.”

Graeme Finnie, managing partner, added: “Harry is a great business developer who builds strong relationships with clients quickly and is perfectly suited to the role while continuing to front our busy corporate advisory offering in Edinburgh.

French Duncan has18 partners, a fee income of more than £10 million, nearly 200 employees, and a network of offices spanning Scotland’s Central Belt.
