Regulator wants no more local TV
Media watchdog Ofcom has given its provisional support to the BBC’s plans for a new Scottish channel amid concerns over the viability of more channels.

Ofcom Scotland has agreed to a meeting with Daily Business to discuss ongoing concerns over BBC Scotland’s continued promotion of selected media.
Review of new station
Restrictions may be placed on the new BBC Scotland channel to prevent it from dominating media output.
Ofcom to be alerted
The BBC has once again failed to respond adequately to a complaint from Daily Business about its coverage of Scottish media. The matter will now be referred to Ofcom. Full response here:
