Advanced talks
Celtic closing in on managerial target Nancy

Celtic could have a permanent manager in place by next week, with Wilfried Nancy expected to be announced as Brendan Rodgers’ successor.
Negotiations with the Frenchman, currently in charge of MLS side Columbus Crew, are understood to have been ongoing for some days.
Compensation will be required to take the 48-year-old to Glasgow, with Nancy keen to also bring his backroom team with him to Parkhead.
Martin O’Neill has been in interim charge since Rodgers’ sudden exit last month and has steadied the Hoops ship.
The 73-year-old has made it clear, however, that his role is a temporary one and it appears that his short but successful spell back in the dugout is coming to a close.
O’Neill and assistant Shaun Maloney will take charge of Celtic’s Europa League meeting away to Feyenoord on Thursday with Sunday’s Premiership trip to face Hibs at Easter Road expected to their last match in charge.
With talks at an advanced stage, Nancy could have a watching brief in Leith before being unveiled at the start of the week.
Celtic host Dundee on Wednesday evening, with the visit of Steven Pressley’s side thought to have been pencilled in by the Parkhead hierarachy for the Frenchman’s first game in charge.
