Panel extension
Talks go on as Wood and Sidara given new deadline

Wood Group and its Dubai suitor Sidara have been granted another extension to talks over a possible offer for the Aberdeen-based energy group.
A new deadline of 30 June has been set by the Takeover Panel for the Middle East group to declare its intentions after it announced a possible offer of 35p per share on 14 April.
Wood is also continuing to work with its auditor towards the publication of its delayed audited accounts for the financial year ended 31 December 2024. Its shares remain suspended.
The statement was delayed to take into account a review by Deloitte of its accounting and corporate governance.
The company this week secured a $2.8 billion contract in the UAE as it continues to win significant new work.
