Audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has appointed Ross Stupart as regional managing partner for Scotland and Northern Ireland, based in Edinburgh.

He takes over from Alex Tait, the firm’s head of risk and governance, who takes on a broader role as part of the national consulting leadership.

Mr Stupart is currently office managing partner of RSM’s Edinburgh office and will continue in his tax partner role.

He joined RSM in 2017 and has worked with clients across a range of sectors which operate domestically and internationally.

Commenting on his new role, Mr Stupart said: “The growth our business has experienced is a testament to our great team plus our ambitious and innovative clients.”

Mr Tait said: “Our business in Scotland & Northern Ireland has more than doubled in turnover and staff since 2019 and I’m excited to see how our teams continue to grow and succeed>”
