Duncan Turner, a partner in law firm CMS’s technology and media team, has taken over as Edinburgh office managing partner from Darren Craig, who held the role for the past decade.

Mr Turner specialises in information technology, intellectual property, and data protection law.

A graduate of the Australian National University, he began his career in Canberra with King & Wood Mallesons, before moving to Scotland in 2005 when he joined Dickson Minto.

He switched to CMS’s Edinburgh office in 2015, where he was promoted to partner level two years later.
