Deloitte has appointed David Mitchell as office senior partner for Glasgow.  He has been an audit partner at the firm since 2016. 

In his new role, Mr Mitchell will be responsible for leading the city’s team of 325 staff in Queen Street.

He said: “Our focus will be on embracing new technologies and harnessing the potential of AI and digital transformation to enhance and evolve Scotland’s business ecosystem, as well as capitalising on the many opportunities that the energy transition agenda brings.” 

Mr Mitchell represented Scotland and Team GB in hockey, including competing in the 2006 Commonwealth Games. He is still actively involved in the sport, coaching and playing alongside the next generation of Scottish hockey players, including his two sons.
