Finance director joins team behind fast-growing town

Alan Coyle joins Winchburgh Developments

Winchburgh Developments has appointed Alan Coyle as finance director, adding to the team behind the masterplan for Scotland’s fastest-growing town.

Mr Coyle previously worked across local government and the energy and shipbuilding sectors with a focus on infrastructure developments, business transformation and finance.

Since 2012, the company has planned and co-ordinated the construction of more than 1,000 houses in Winchburgh, with that number expected to quadruple to 4,000 over the next ten years, resulting in a rise in population of the community to 13,000 – on a par with nearby Linlithgow.

WDL has recently reached a number of significant developer-led milestones including the completion of the 20-berth Winchburgh Marina, the opening of an M9 motorway junction in both directions, the completion of an education campus, and the opening of rail and canal over-bridges which connect the town to the trunk road network.
