Edinburgh Napier University has named a former alumnus as the latest entrepreneur in residence for its enterprise hub.

Leonardo Binetti is the co-founder of a battery recycling start-up Arabat, which has attracted millions of pounds in venture capital investment.

He takes up the role at the Bright Red Triangle initiative where he will provide mentoring and guidance for students, graduates and staff across Napier, Queen Margaret University and Edinburgh College.

Dr Binetti becomes the latest business figure to support the BRT community as an Entrepreneur in Residence, following the arrival of Nigel Chadwick and Lynne Cadenhead in recent months.
