Digital consultancy CreateFuture has appointed Emma Nicol as chief operating officer, the first addition to the leadership team following its rebrand from xDesign this summer.

Previously European COO at global digital consultancy Kin+Carta, Ms Nicol was a key member of the executive team, where she was instrumental in operational transformation and M&A.

She was responsible for the operational performance of an 850-strong team across six countries, and managed the integration of several acquired businesses.

At CreateFuture, Ms Nicol will work with founder and CEO Euan Andrews to guide the company through its next stage of growth.

Mr Andrews, said: “Emma brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in driving operational excellence and managing complex integrations.”
