SGS promotes Davidson to chief technology officer
Energy software provider Smarter Grid Solutions (SGS) has promoted Euan Davidson to chief technology officer.
Mr Davidson, who will be based in the Glasgow headquarters, will take a lead role in advancing its distributed energy resource management system software products.
Since joining SGS in 2012 as the company’s first R&D engineer, Mr Davidson has significantly contributed to the delivery of the firm’s research, product, system delivery and market strategies.
Prior to joining SGS, he worked on developing artificial intelligence solutions in the energy, aerospace and marine sectors at University of Strathclyde’s Institute of Energy and Environment.
