Revenue up at law firm
Eighth year of growth at Gillespie Macandrew
Robert Campbell-Graham: investing in the business
Law firm Gillespie Macandrew has achieved an eighth consecutive year of growth with an 8% increase in revenue to £14m for the 12 months to the end of February.
The rise in turnover follows similar growth in each of the last four years, making Gillespie Macandrew one of the fastest growing large law firms headquartered in Scotland. The firm’s year end cash position improved to £1.4m.
Chief executive Robert Graham-Campbell said: “We have delivered another set of strong financial results while continuing to invest in the business to strengthen our offer to clients.
“Most significantly this included adding the Scottish private client team from Clyde & Co, who joined midyear.
“While the economic outlook has changed considerably since the year end with the advent of Covid-19, the sector focus of our business and our strong financial position at the outset of the pandemic, as evidenced by these results, gives me confidence that we can meet the challenges ahead.”
The firm has offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth.
