Chris Horne: ‘developing and retaining new talent’

Azets, the accountancy firm previously known as Campbell Dallas and Scott Moncrieff in Scotland, has appointed 31 graduate trainees and apprentices across Scotland, its largest intake.

Chris Horne, regional CEO in Scotland said that despite current challenges the firm is taking the “long view”.

He said: “Investing in new talent is a priority for the business and we are delighted to be welcoming the largest number of graduate and apprenticeship appointments we have made in Scotland.

“We are all facing unprecedented challenges, and I know some firms have delayed or cancelled their graduate intakes but it is essential that we take the long view and continue to attract and develop young people into the profession.

“Business, the economy and society are changing at a rapid rate, but those changes will provide our new recruits with a range of experiences that will serve them well as they develop their careers.
