Qureshi signed up as RedHanded launch editor
RedHanded Scotland magazine, due to make its appearance this autumn, has appointed its launch editor.
Arusa Qureshi is the former editor of The List, a current commissioning editor at Bella Caledonia and has had work appear in the Guardian and The Scotsman.
Her particular focus as a writer is on music, diversity and accessibility within arts and culture.
Published four times a year and distributed free, Red-Handed is aimed at those “who want to enjoy the better things in life”.
It was founded in Wales in 2003 by Paul Mulligan who has a track record in publishing and sales. RedHanded is part of a suite of magazines across the UK and promises big-name interviews, thought-provoking articles and fashion advice.
Sean McMahon, operations director, has experience in public relations, marketing, property, financial services and sales working alongside brands such as Phillip Morris International, Turtle Bay and Coyote Ugly Saloons.
