McNulty leaves Weber Shandwick for Fashion House

Paula McNulty: new role

One of Scotland’s most senior PR operators, Paula McNulty, has left Weber Shandwick after 12 years with the agency.

Ms McNulty has joined the European retail outlet company Fashion House Group as head of marketing.

She was associate director and later group associate director for consumer marketing at Weber Shandwick, working on campaigns, digital media, copywriting and event management.

She began her career as the programme leader for the BA (Hons) Communication, Advertising & PR at Edinburgh Napier University.

Her move came as Weber Shandwick lost its UK chief executive Rachel Friend who is leaving the agency, two years after moving to the top UK role at Britain’s second biggest PR consultancy.

Heather Peebles has joined Edinburgh-based Clark Communications as a senior account manager after a short spell at Stripe Communications, also based in the city.

Ms Peebles, who also worked at Aura, Holyrood PR and Burt Greener, spent just under three years in London, first with Professional Sports Group and later Pitch Marketing.

Gaynor Kay, who also worked at Burt Greener and Holyrood, has joined the Musselburgh-based agency Miller Mitchell.

Ms Kay, who becomes associate director, had spells at Weber Shandwick, the Scottish Government, Consolidated PR, Muckle Media, and most recently Grayling.
