Bauer and Pure make waves with new radio talent

New roles: Gary Lamont and Amber Zoe Livingstone

Bauer Media Scotland, owner of Forth and Clyde radio stations, has appointed Gary Lamont to the  newly-created role of head of creative for Scotland.

With more than 10 years’ experience in commercial radio, he spent five years as a senior creative at Global and was most recently chief creative officer at agency Fore Digital, where he led a large multi-disciplined creative team.

Radio Clyde and Radio Forth reported an increase in total listener numbers, according to the latest RAJAR results, published in October.

Recently-launched Pure Radio has added Amber Zoe Livingstone to its presenting roster.  She will take the helm of the daily drivetime show.

After securing a place in the Bauer Academy, she got her first big break on Radio Clyde and has been presenting the travel on Clyde 1’s Home Run with Grant Thomson since 2015.
