Irvine hired to lead Brexit Party’s election campaign

Jack Irvine: crisis manager

Scottish PR and former newspaper veteran Jack Irvine will be Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage’s right-hand man during the general election campaign.

The party has appointed the owner of the Media House agency director of campaign communications for the duration of the election.

Mr Irvine, who was launch editor of The Scottish Sun in 1987, specialises in crisis management and public affairs. He attended a Brexit Party rally held at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange in May.

Chris Sibbald is leaving his head of comms role at Tesco Bank to join the financial services team at London-based financial PR company Finsbury.

He was one of the original team at Charlotte Street Partners alongside founders Malcolm Robertson and Andrew Wilson.

Kirstin Stevenson has returned to STV as head of communications seven years after leaving to join her former manager Callum Spreng at Spreng & Co. For the past four years she has been general manager at Wire.
