Corum’s first female partner among estate agency hires

Corum Property has promoted Sally Cormack as head of sales process and its first female partner.  

Over the course of her three-decade career in estate agency, Ms Cormack was part of the Corum team when the business was founded in 2003. 

Her new role will encompass the sales processes and customer service approach across all the nine Corum branches.

Commenting on the new appointment, John Kelly managing partner, said: “Sally’s wealth of experience in the sector, makes her an excellent addition to our management team.”

Rettie hires industry stalwart

Rettie & Co has hired Sandy Gilmour as an associate director in its land development team. 

Mr Gilmour, who joins from Graham & Sibbald, brings more than 20 years’ experience in the Scottish market and most recently headed up Graham + Sibbald’s national investment and development practice.  

Matthew Benson, director, development services at Rettie & Co, said: “It’s a great hire for us and further strengthens our market-leading Land and Development team.”

Fourth partner for Ledingham Chalmers

Ledingham Chalmers has announced its fourth partner appointment this year.

Newly promoted Lynne Stewart joined the firm on 1 November from Simpson & Marwick Aberdeen.

Miss Stewart graduated from the University of Aberdeen before joining what was then Paull & Williamsons, ultimately becoming a senior associate at Simpson & Marwick Aberdeen.
