Strengthening firm's Fife presence
Experienced former RBS director joins EQ
An experienced Fife business adviser, who has supported the local community for over 30 years, has been appointed consultant with Scottish tax and business advisory specialists, EQ Accountants.
Bryan Johnston, former relationship director with Royal Bank of Scotland, will strengthen EQ’s presence in Fife, working alongside partners and staff within EQ’s Glenrothes office.
Mr Johnston worked his way through the ranks of RBS for 31 years, progressing to relationship director in commercial banking where he was privileged to be involved in the growth and development of a number of businesses.
David Cameron, managing partner, said: “His commercial experience and contacts within the business community in Fife are exceptional, and we are certain that he will bring added value to the services that we currently offer our clients.
“His role with EQ will enable him to re-establish connections and friendships, support our ongoing development and contribute to the growing reputation we have for expertise in working and assisting the SME’s within our key geographic territories.”
Mr Johnston said: “I have found EQ to be extremely pro-active, very professional and client-focused which is also in keeping with my own philosophy. I am looking forward to combining my skills, alongside those of the wider EQ team, to open up new opportunities and assist both the business and its clients in achieving their goals and aspirations.”
