Care Sourcer scales up with acquisition of consumer sites
Vision: Care Sourcer’s team
Care Sourcer, the care homes comparison site, has acquired two social care consumer websites, Good Care Guide and Care Home Advisor from healthcare business intelligence provider, LaingBuisson.
Good Care Guide allows users to find, rate and review care for older people in care homes and those looking for care at home across England, Scotland and Wales.
Care Home Advisor aggregates data in real time from a range of sources to enable people to find the best quality care home for their needs and is endorsed by Age UK, Independent Age, Care England and the National Care Forum.
The acquisition forms part of Care Sourcer’s vision to provide those in need of care for their family members, with the highest quality of information, to ensure they can make an informed decision to find the right care for their needs.
Andrew Parfrey, CEO and co-founder of Care Sourcer said: “This acquisition demonstrates our commitment to becoming the UK’s marketplace for quality care for the elderly.
” Finding the best care for loved ones can be a stressful time for families and we want to ensure we can provide them with the highest quality information they can access quickly and easily to help them to find the care team that’s right for their specific needs.”
Henry Elphick, CEO of LaingBuisson, said: “We are excited by the commitment Care Sourcer has shown to ensuring that consumers have access to the most accurate and transparent information on care, promoting good care and investing in the sector.”
