Tayside property lawyer to lead Aberdein Considine expansion
Scottish property lawyer Lindsay Darroch has joined Aberdein Considine to lead its expansion across the Tayside region.
He has taken on the role of partner, with responsibility for the firm’s existing Tayside office and its expansion into Dundee. He will be based across two Aberdein Considine offices – Perth High Street and the firm’s new location in the City of Discovery’s Flour Mill building – and will see clients in both locations.
The 48-year-old was previously a partner at a Dundee based law firm, where he worked for 20 years, a role which included eight years on the board of the Tayside Solicitors Property Centre.
Mr Darroch acts for a range of clients including private individuals, developers and property investors across the wider Tayside region.
He is also a trustee at DFC in the Community Trust, a board member at Caledonia Housing Association and Clerk & Boxmaster at The Nine Incorporated Trades of Dundee.
Speaking about his new role, Mr Darroch said: “The business is moving into Dundee at an exciting time for the city, with the delivery of the Waterfront Development. It is a clear vote of confidence in the regional economy.”
Michael Sinclair, senior property partner at Aberdein Considine, said: “We already have a strong presence in the Angus market to the north and the Perth & Kinross market to the south, Lindsay’s appointment will allow us to extend this in Dundee.”
