Stewart Brewing picks up top prize for second successive year

Stewart Brewing was named Brewery of the Year for an unprecedented second successive year as the industry celebrated another 12 months of growth and innovation.
The Edinburgh company, founded in 2004 by Steve and Jo Stewart, also picked up Exporter of the Year and Product Development Team of the Year at the Scottish Beer Awards.
Brewdog also enjoyed a successful night, picking up several awards including Beer of the Year for its Sleekit Sour.
Dominique Bongers of Fierce Beer in Glasgow was named Brewer of the Year. 71 Brewing, which launched in Dundee two years ago, picked up the award for Breakthrough Brewery of the Year.
A panel of 35 tasters and business assessors judged nearly 300 Scottish beers from 45 brewing businesses.
