£5,000 per month
Apartment is Edinburgh’s most expensive rented property

Room with a view: the new apartment
A newly-built property behind one of Edinburgh’s landmark buildings has become what is thought to be the most expensive rental apartment in the city.
The £1.7 million penthouse sits within the City’s Unesco World Heritage Site and will cost its tenants “upwards” of £5,000 per month.
The three-bedroom apartment at The Crescent overlooks the former Donaldson’s School near Haymarket in the west of the city.

Spacious living space
Malcolm Pickard, Tay Letting east director, said: “The Crescent is an iconic development and we’re excited to market a number of these special properties.”
The three-bedroom apartment has lift access, two private balconies, spacious living areas and original artwork.
The development by Cala Homes comprises 84 residences in 18 acres of gardens around the converted school.
