Four partners for commercial law firm Burness Paull
Independent commercial law firm Burness Paull has confirmed three promotions to partner and one partner hire.
The appointments are aligned to important growth areas for the firm – energy and technology. It has promoted two energy lawyers, Neil Bruce and Peter Ward.
Lynne Gray becomes a partner in the health & safety and corporate crime team.
Colin Miller has joined from DWF, as a partner in the tech & commercial division.
In addition the firm has appointed a record 25 newly-qualified lawyers – representing a retention rate of 88% of trainees.
Managing partner Tamar Tammes commented: “We have made a significant investment in our Developing Leaders Programme and have promoted at least four new partners from that pool each year for the last three years.”
Gilson Gray associate
Gilson Gray has welcomed Sarah Feeney as an associate from BTO Solicitors to join its family law department.
First qualifying in 2008, Ms Feeney will bring 12 years experience to its Glasgow office.
Since 2017, the family law team at Gilson Gray has expanded significantly from just two members to seven.
