New Scottish position

Bank veteran joins lender ThinCats in development role

ThinCats, a lender to mid-sized firms, has appointed Kenny Hughes as director, regional business development for Scotland.

Mr Hughes brings over 20 years’ experience in corporate debt finance from Metro Bank where he was most recently a director focusing on mid-market transactions. Prior to this he held senior corporate and structured finance roles at Barclays and RBS.

He said: “ThinCats is making great progress in funding the mid-sized businesses that are driving the economy. I am delighted to be joining at such an exciting time for the non-bank lending sector, and look forward to using my experience to support the growth aspirations of Scottish businesses with bespoke funding solutions.”
