Approval for one of Glasgow’s biggest office schemes
Argyle St development will fill a gap site
One of the biggest office development projects in Glasgow will go ahead after planners approved a 270,000 sq ft scheme capable of accommodating 3,000 employees.
Property development and investment company Osborne+Co said the Argyle Street site, which has been derelict for more than 20 years, will have an end value of £140 million.
Designed by Glasgow-based architects Cooper Cromar, the 14 storey block will provide large open-plan office floor plates up to 23,000 sq ft.
The site was acquired last year by Osborne+Co and JV partners Scotsbridge Holdings.
