Legal firm TLT adds pair to growing Scottish team

Legal services firm TLT has appointed two senior procurement specialists as part of its continued expansion in Scotland.
Caroline Ramsay was previously partner and head of both the procurement and state aid practices at Pinsent Masons. Iain Steel, chief procurement services officer, was most recently at TMC Professional.
John Paul Sheridan, location head for TLT in Scotland, says: “We are delighted to have two such senior and highly regarded experts join our growing Glasgow team.”
Catharine MacDonald joins from Ashurst as legal director in Glasgow. She will work alongside banking and finance partner Douglas Gourlay, who joined TLT in June 2018.
TLT is continuing to expand its near-legal consulting offering as part of its Future Law programme, with other high profile appointments in the last year including Stuart Murray from BT, who leads TLT’s regulatory affairs consultancy service focusing on telecoms.
Other recent high profile appointments in Scotland include real estate partner and clean energy expert Nick Shenken (Pinsent Masons) and corporate partner Damien Bechelli (DWF).
