Recruitment firm Taranata Group has acquired consulting business Hanya Partners and announced that group founder Paul Atkinson will become non-executive chairman.
Martin Ewart, founder and leader of Hanya Partners, will take on the role of chief executive of Taranata Group, a new role that will take on Mr Atkinson’s executive functions.
Mr Ewart, pictured, has been chairman of group subsidiary Head Resourcing since 2014. He has led the business through significant growth and most recently the formation of the Taranata Group. He will remain as chairman of Head Resourcing while taking on his new role.
He launched Hanya Partners in 2014 and it has offices in Edinburgh and London, employing three people, and supported by around 30 associates. Clients include major UK banks, public sector organisations and utilities companies.
Mr Atkinson said: “This is a defining moment for our business. Our current brands focus on recruitment at all levels, now having made a conscious decision to add Consulting and IT Services, we are beginning to realise our larger ambition – to broaden out from our recruitment and talent services and collaborate with our clients across more of their strategic goals.
“This chapter builds on our heritage of talent provision and collaboration with our clients.”
Martin Ewart commented: “Our clients have an ever-changing dynamic set of needs. They require partners who can be skilled and flexible enough to bring the right response to help them accelerate their growth.”
