Renowned tech futurist joins WFS Technologies team

Theo PriestleyWFS Technologies, a firm that deals in subsea wireless automation, Internet of Things (IoT) and edge computing networks for the energy industry (including oil & gas and offshore wind) has hired Theo Priestley as chief marketing officer.

Mr Priestley is a globally-renowned technology evangelist who focuses on emerging trends and their impact on business and wider society. He is already lined up for a number of key industry conferences including this week’s The Future of the North Sea Digital Transformation Summit in Edinburgh where he will chair a panel session. He will also speak at the Digital Transformation for Oil & Gas conference to be held in Amsterdam in June.

Widely recognised as a thought leader in the internet of things, Mr Priestley has written more than 100 articles for a range of publications.

He has also delivered keynote talks and chaired conferences across the world on topics including IoT, smart cities, artificial intelligence, big data and analytics, digital transformation, and augmented/virtual reality.
