Greenock-based international paper trading company, PG Paper Company has appointed former Cath Kidston ad Arran Aromatics executive Chris McKendrick as manager director.

The company, established by entrepreneurial couple Poonam and Puneet Gupta in 2003, has experienced fast growth in recent years and now trades in 55 countries.

Mr McKendrick has a wealth of experience in transforming some of the UK’s most well-known brands, including Cath Kidston into global brands. Most recently, he was CEO of Scottish luxury beauty and home fragrance brand, Arran Aromatics.

The appointment follows other international appointments in Turkey and China to support the company’s growth plans. It has also established offices in New York and Gothenburg in recent months.
