Coulters announces partner promotion and two hires

Coulters, the independent residential estate agency and conveyancing firm, has promoted one director to partner and made two managerial appointments, taking its total headcount to 35.
Joanne Cruickshank, who was one of the eight-strong team to join Coulters from Scottish law firm Morton Fraser last September, has been promoted to partner, managing a conveyancing team of ten.
With over 30 years’ experience, Ms Cruickshank previously held partner positions in three firms and managed business expansions and branch roll-outs.
Commenting on her promotion, Ken Ireland, CEO at Coulters, said: “Joanne adds a wealth of relevant experience to an already hugely experienced partnership. Her strengths in people management and team leadership will be especially useful as we move into the next phase of our development. Her caring demeanour and real passion for residential property make here a huge asset to the entire Coulters business.”
Rebecca Ajodani joins Coulters as a senior client advisor in the company’s Stockbridge office. A business studies graduate from Aberdeen University, she has over four years’ experience in the industry graduating with a position at Boyd Legal before moving to Simpson & Marwick where she was a sales negotiator. Ms Ajodani is primarily responsible for supporting and developing the Stockbridge and New Town market on business development within the area, and client relationships.
Craig Barrie, is appointed as an associate in property sales based in the company’s Marchmont office with responsibility for providing clients with property valuations and market updates.
He joins from Espace Real Estate in Dubai where he was client manager responsible for the sale and negotiation of a large portfolio of extremely high value properties. Prior to his time in Dubai, he worked at DJ Alexander in Edinburgh in a property management role.
