Wylie & Bisset and Chiene + Tait unveil expansion
Wylie & Bisset, the Glasgow-based firm of chartered accountants, has expanded its reach across northern England by opening an office in the heart of Manchester’s financial district.
the new office is headed by Wylie & Bisset joint managing partner Ross McLauchlan, together with partners Scott Gillon and Graham Gillespie and managed by Neil Clark.
The launch of the Manchester office follows the firm’s recent acquisition of fellow Glasgow CA practice McLellan Harris and marks the latest step in an expansion strategy combining a series of acquisitions with organic growth to enhance its activity in the UK’s buoyant SME sector.
Mr McLauchlan said: “The opening of this office marks our commitment to build upon the success we have achieved in the north of England to date.”
Wylie & Bisset has nearly doubled in size over the last decade and now has 10 partners and 120 staff.
Chiene & Tait boosts Inverness presence
