Major new tenant
Sitel creates 800 jobs in one of Maxim’s biggest deals
Sitel will take space at Maxim 10
Contact centre group Sitel UK is bringing 800 jobs to Maxim Park near Glasgow in the largest out of town business park deal of the last year.
The company has leased 58,744 sq ft at the Maxim 10 building on a ten-year lease to service its contract with a media supplier.
It represents one of the biggest deals to date for the park which was acquired in October by Shelborn Asset Management on behalf of overseas clients for £38 million. It has recently implemented a Park wide re-brand delivered by creative agency, Drumbeat.
Brian Rabinowitz, director of Shelborn Asset Management, said: “It is great news to welcome the company to the Park.
“We’re looking forward to continuing to build strong relationships with our tenants in order to deliver their desired workplace environment and are confident that Maxim will go from strength to strength as it embarks on a new chapter.”
Sitel’s new home occupies a prime location on the south side of the long, landscaped boulevard in the Park which sits alongside the M8.
It is already home to a number of organisations including Balfour Beatty, SEPA, TC BioPharm, Allied Glass, Document Data Group, SureThing, Proact UK, Lamellar Biomedical, Wills Bros, Ricoh and Brown MacFarlane. Eurocentral is home to FedEx, Laing O’Rourke, Amazon and BrewDog.
CBRE and Ryden represented Maxim Office Park whilst JLL acted for Sitel.
