Digital Technology Awards
ScotlandIS awards entries ‘reflect sector’s strength’
The awards celebrate the wealth of talent and innovation in Scotland’s world-class digital technologies industry. This year the awards received an even greater number of entries from a diverse range of companies, reflecting the strength of the sector.
The judging panel included experts, champions and influencers from across the digital technology industry.
Polly Purvis, CEO of ScotlandIS, pictured, said: “We are a small country with outstanding capabilities reflected in the diversity and innovation of the companies on the shortlist. We’ve received entries from so many exciting companies who are growing, and developing new products and services in response to the opportunities created by the pace of change in the digital world, creating tough choices for the judges.
“The continued success of the industry is reflected in the awards, which highlight the wealth of opportunities available to those considering a career in this vibrant sector. ”
There are 11 trophies available this year including: Digital Technology Business of the Year, Cyber Security Initiative and the Culture & Leadership Award.
Among those shortlisted is the Scottish Government CivTech® Programme, the initiative that brings digital solutions to public sector challenges.
