Hearing set for April
Rangers and Ashley in new merchandise court battle
Kit fight: Ashley and Ranges are in another dispute over merchandise
Rangers are preparing for another merchandise battle in the courts with Sports Direct and Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley, pictured.
The case revolves around new deals secured by the Ibrox board which Sports Direct claim are in breach of an agreement.
At an earlier hearing Mr Justice Teare concluded that Rangers had made a new agreement with the Elite Group without giving Sports Direct managers a chance to match that company’s offer.
Sports Direct has now made further complaints relating to agreements involving Rangers and the Elite Group and Rangers and Hummel.
Rangers dispute the claims made against them and a judge is scheduled to analyse evidence at a High Court hearing in London on 12 April.
