Open banking on agenda at Edinburgh fintech event

Fintech specialists will be updated on developments in open banking at an event in Edinburgh this week organised by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Nilixia Devlukia, head of regulatory on open banking at the FCA and Stephen Ingledew, chief executive of FinTech Scotland, will address the latest FCA Innovate gathering at The Scotsman Hotel on Thursday.

Those attending will have the opportunity to meet other fintech industry professionals and members of the Innovate team. There will be a panel session on operational and cyber resilience.

FCA InnovateFCA Innovate was created in 2014 and encourages innovation in the interest of consumers. It provides regulatory support for small and large businesses developing innovative products or services.

FCA services includes Sandbox and RegTech. The Sandbox allows businesses to test innovative ideas in the market with real consumers. RegTech helps with collaboration, knowledge sharing and conversations around new technologies that support better regulation.
