Wong joins growing team at Cameron Hume
The Edinburgh firm provides active management of fixed income for institutional clients and has recently launched the Cameron Hume Global Fixed Income ESG Fund.
Founded in 2011 by directors Chris Torkington and Guy Cameron, Cameron Hume now has 11 staff and $750 million assets under management.
Mr Wong brings 12 years’ investment management experience to the company following four years at Old Mutual Global Investors and eight at Ignis Asset Management.
He managed life and absolute return funds at Ignis and was a portfolio manager in the rates team at Old Mutual Global, where he was responsible for absolute return funds.
It was recently announced that former CEO of Standard Life, Sir Sandy Crombie is to become chairman of the firm.
